HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby (a) declares the pieces of road described in the Schedule hereto to be Government road, and (b) stops the said road.

ALL that piece of road containing 1 rood 0·7 perches, situated in Block XI, Hawkswood Survey District, Canterbury R.D., adjoining or passing through part Lot 3, D.P. 5373, being part Section 30, Square 86, Amuri; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 20556 (S.O. 10588) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to section 140 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Matamata County Council to sell, or contract to sell, and remove timber upon a certain county road ad- joining or passing through Section 76, Selwyn Settlement; as the said road is more particularly shown on the plan marked M.O.W. 20520, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Garden and Sons, by Henry Thomas Davidson, James Dunery Davidson, and Robert Alexander Davidson, all of Millers Flat, sheep farmers, of their rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the 30th day of May 1956, and published in the Gazette of the 31st day of the same month at page 712.
