Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve, set apart by Proclamation dated the 26th day of August 1941, and published in Gazette, 4 September 1941, Volume III, page 2714, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

PART Section 14, Block XI, Wharepapa Survey District, Otorohanga County: Area, 95 acres, more or less; as shown on plan numbered N. 75/1 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. 43265).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of July 1966.

Crown Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.


SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY

ALL that area of Crown land in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, containing 1,438 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks IV and VII, Waitakere Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 10, Block IV, Waitakere Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the southern boundary of Section 22, Block IV, aforesaid and that boundary produced to the eastern bank of Madman’s Creek; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of provisional State forest as described in Gazette, 1930, page 3122, to the north-western boundary of provisional State forest (9,800 acres) as described in Gazette, 1920, page 2115; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the north-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VII, Waitakere Survey District; thence generally north-westerly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of the said Section 5, to the north side of a public road along the north bank of the Awakari River; thence generally north-westerly along the northern and eastern sides of the said public road and the eastern bank of the Waitakere or Nile River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 10, Block IV, Waitakere Survey District; thence easterly to and along that boundary to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 10; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 10 to the point of commencement.

As shown on plan No. 112/18 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of July 1966.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a service lane; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of August 1966.
