Town and Country Planning Act Notices




of Hayton Properties Ltd. for a departure, under section 35
of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, from the above
district scheme for its property in Gill Street, New Plymouth.

The substance and effect of the consent is to allow, subject
to certain conditions, the applicant company to erect a
canopy over part of its land, making the total coverage
of the site in excess of the permitted 85 per cent.

The full description of the land is shown in the said
application, which, together with the plans mentioned therein,
may be inspected, without fee at any time during office
hours, at the Town Clerk's Office, Liardet Street, New
Plymouth.

SCHEDULE
ALTERATION of Ordinance II of the Code of Ordinances by
adding the following to Clauses 5, 6, 7, 7A, 7B, 8, and 9
thereof:
"Prohibited Uses—
The following uses shall be prohibited in this zone:
(a) The conversion or use of an existing dwellinghouse or
accessory building for commercial or industrial purposes, where the construction of the building does
not comply with the current bylaws for that purpose.
(b) The partial use of a site for commercial or industrial
purposes where there is a dwellinghouse on the site.""

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Proposed Change in the City of Lower Hutt District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Council made on the 27th day of June 1966, the
Council has resolved to recommend that the Operative District Scheme be altered in respect of the matter listed in the
Schedule hereto. The change of the District Scheme, as now
recommended by the Council, has been deposited in the
Council offices, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, the War Memorial
Library, Lower Hutt, and the branch libraries at Moera,
Taita, and Stokes Valley, and is there open for inspection
by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time
when the offices are open to the public. Objection to the
proposed change of the district scheme may be made by
way of written notice in Form E, prescribed in the First
Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, or to the like effect, marked "Objection to Scheme
Change" and lodged at the office of the Council at any
time not later than the 31st day of August 1966. An
appropriate form for use of objectors is available from the
Council offices. At a later date every objection will be open
for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support
or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard
at the hearing of objections, if he notifies the Town Clerk
in writing within a period of which public notice will be
given.

SCHEDULE
(a) Alteration of Ordinance IV of the Code of Ordinances
by deleting Clause 6 ("River Berm Area") there-
from.
(b) Alteration of Ordinance II by adding a clause entitled
"Clause 10—River Zones" defining the areas com-
prised in river zones and prescribing the predominant
and the conditional uses in such zones.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of One Tree Hill Borough District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Council made on 21 June 1966, the Council has
recommended that the operative district scheme be changed
in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto.
The changes of the district scheme now recommended by
the Council have been deposited in the Council Chambers,
272 Manukau Road, and the District Land Registrar's Office,
Auckland, for the inspection by all persons interested therein,
without fee, at any time when the above places are open
to the public.
Objection to the proposed changes of the district scheme
may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed
in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning
Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked "objection"
to scheme change and lodged in the office of the Council
at any time not later than Monday, 22 August 1966. An
appropriate form for the use by objectors is available from
the Council Chambers.
At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any
objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing
of objections if he notifies the Council in writing within a
period of which public notice will be given.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Proposed Changes in the Franklin County Council District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Franklin County Council, made on the 27th day of
June 1966, changes to the district scheme have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The changes are listed in the Schedule hereto.
The changes have been deposited in the office of the
Franklin County Council, Pukekohe, and are there open
for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein
at any time when the above place is open to the public.
Objections to the proposed changes, or any part thereof,
shall be in writing in form E, prescribed in the First
Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, and shall be lodged at the offices of the Council at
any time not later than 26 August 1966. (A suitable form
for the use of objectors is available from the Council
offices.)
At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing
of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within
the period of which public notice will be given.
