PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Paparua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £11,600 authorised to be raised by the Paparua
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for financing
the Council’s share of the cost of constructing a vehicle-
testing Station at Sockburn in cooperation with the Waimairi
County Council and Riccarton Borough Council, the said
Paparua County Council hereby makes a special rate of
0·01006d. in the pound upon the capital value of all rate-
able property in the Paparua County; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable yearly in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.”

SOUTH CANTERBURY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

Renewal Loan 1966—£60,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
South Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby resolves as
follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of sixty thousand pounds (£60,000) authorised to be
raised by the South Canterbury Electric Power Board under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of redeeming on
1 August 1966 a portion of the Electricity Development Loan
1955—£240,000 second issue £120,000 maturing on that date;
of redeeming on 1 September 1966 a portion of the Electricity
Development Loan 1957—£250,000 first portion £100,000
maturing on that date; and of redeeming on 1 March 1967
a portion of the Electricity Development Loan 1959—£180,000
second issue £80,000 maturing on that date, the South
Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate
of twenty-six thousandths of one penny (0·026d.) in the
pound (£1) upon the rateable value (being the capital
value) of all rateable property within the South Canterbury
Electric Power District, as defined in the Third Schedule to
the Proclamation dated 23 August 1957 and published in the
Gazette on 29 August 1957 at page 1575, and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East
Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on
a loan of two hundred and forty thousand pounds (£240,000)
authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
upgrading roads, footpaths, stormwater drainage and kerbing
and channelling in the borough, the said East Coast Bays
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
eight eight five of a penny (·885d.) in the pound (£) upon
the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of
all rateable property in the Borough of East Coast Bays; and
that such official rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 25th day
of May 1966 and in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the East Coast Bays Borough
Council at a duly constituted meeting held on the 15th day
of June 1966.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Mount Roskill Borough District Scheme, Change No. 21

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments
and to the regulations made thereunder, that Change No. 21
was recommended for approval by Council at its meeting on
5 April 1966 and was approved by Council on 7 June 1966.

No objections were lodged and Council at its meeting on
7 June 1966 resolved that the Change No. 21 be incorporated
in the district scheme for the Borough of Mount Roskill and
determined that the change shall became operative on 7 July
1966.

Copies of the Change No. 21 as approved have been
deposited in the office of the Council and may be inspected,
without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when
the office is open to the public.

WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Amendment No. 1 to the Waipawa
Borough District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of
the Council made on the 28th day of October 1965, Amend-
ment No. 1 to the Waipawa Borough District Scheme has
been recommended for approval under the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953.

The proposed amendment comprises changes of zoning and
designations as depicted on the district planning map of
Amendment No. 1 which has been deposited in the Council
Offices and the public library and is there open for inspection,
without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time
when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the amendment or to any part thereof shall
be in writing on form E prescribed in the First Schedule
to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and
shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not
later than the 28th day of September 1966. At a later date every
objection will be open for public inspection, and any person
who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be
entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies
the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public
notice will be given.
