REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Sutherland Flats Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office in Upper Hutt, notice is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 27th day of May 1966, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £14,375 to £11,500 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 14th day of June 1966. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of Sutherland Flats Ltd. henceforth £11,500 is divided into four groups of shares each group consisting of 2,875 shares of £1 each reduced from £14,375 divided into five groups of shares each group consisting of 2,875 shares”.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the Papatoetoe City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute certain public works, namely, the improvement of State Highway No. 20 in the City of Papatoetoe and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

Every person affected by the execution of the said public works shall set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and shall send the written objection within forty (40) days of the first publication of this notice to the Papatoetoe City Council, St. George Street, Papatoetoe (Box 23–012, Papatoetoe).

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 36·6 perches, more or less, situated in the City of Papatoetoe, being Lots 1 and 2, Deposited Plan 41746, and being the residue of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1123, folio 270, North Auckland Registry, subject to agreement as to fencing contained in transfer 549425, and situated on the corner of Buckland Road and Portage Road, Papatoetoe.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Waipawa County Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the Palmerston North City Council intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of an aerodrome. A plan of the said lands is deposited at the public office of the Palmerston North City Council, The Square, Palmerston North, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) and to send such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk of the City of Palmerston North. If any such objection is made a public hearing of the same will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE of intention to take land for soil conservation and river-control purposes in the Invercargill, Forest Hill, and Mabel Hundreds.

Notice is hereby given that the Southland Catchment Board proposes to carry out certain river-control works on the Makarewa River, including the straightening of portions thereof, and that, in pursuance of the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the said Board proposes to take the several pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto for such purposes.

And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the office of the said Board, Spey Street, Invercargill, and are there open for inspection without fee, and that all persons affected by the execution of such works or the taking of such lands should, if they have any objections to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the date of this notice (being the date of first publication thereof) to the said Board’s office at the above address (postal address: P.O. Box 408, Invercargill).
