And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the office of the said Board, Spey Street, Invercargill, and are there open for inspection, without fee, and that all persons affected by the execution of such works or the taking of such lands should, if they have any objections to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the date of this notice (being the date of first publication thereof) to the said Board’s office at the above address (postal address: P.O. Box 408, Invercargill).

AUSTRALIA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 31, 1966, £75,400
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of seventy-five thousand four hundred pounds (£75,400) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 31, 1966, £75,400, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Works Loan 1957, £700,000 which mature on 1 July and 1 October 1966 and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five thirty-eighths of one penny (5/38ths of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 9, 1966, £100,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five four five five of a penny (0·05455d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property, comprising the whole of the County of Waikato; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

THAMES COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1966, £20,000
THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Thames County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Thames County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of advancing moneys to farmers for the erection of, or additions to, or repairs to houses under the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Thames County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·12936 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Thames; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 20th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Thames County Council held on 19 May 1966.

EGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Egmont County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Egmont County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three nine one pence in the pound, on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property of the County of Egmont; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Council held on the 7th day of June 1966.

ARROWTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Camping Ground, Domain, and Council Chambers Loan 1965, £10,000
THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Arrowtown Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Arrowtown Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for camping ground, domain, and Council chambers, the said Arrowtown Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of two pence (2d.) in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Arrowtown; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
