IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

Notice of General Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of McDouglas Enterprises Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation),
notice is hereby given in pursuance of section 291 of the
Companies Act 1955 that a general meeting of the above-
named company will be held at the offices of Glendinning
and Glendinning, National Mutual Building, 53 Rangitikei
Street, Palmerston North, on Wednesday, 29 June 1966 at
10 a.m. for the purpose of having an account laid before
it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the
property of the company has been disposed of, and to
receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting
is entitled to appoint a proxy (or, when that is allowed, one
or more proxies) to attend and vote instead of him. A proxy
need not also be a member.

Proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged with the
undersigned at 53 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, not
later than 4 p.m. on the 28th day of June 1966.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS
IN NEW ZEALAND

Pursuant to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, English
Sewing Cotton Co. Ltd., incorporated in Great Britain, hereby
gives notice of its intention to cease to have a place of
business in New Zealand after the 30th day of September
1966.

Consequent upon reorganisation English Sewing Cotton Co.
Ltd. has been amalgamated with a new company known as
English Sewing Ltd.

The business of English Sewing Cotton Co. Ltd. will be
continued by its successor English Sewing Ltd. at its previous
place of business in New Zealand.

ADVERTISMENT OF PETITION

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Commonwealth Radio and Television Co. (N.Z.) Ltd.,
notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on
the 25th day of May 1966, presented to the said Court by
A. W. MacDonald Ltd., a duly incorporated company having
its registered office at Auckland carrying on business there
and elsewhere in New Zealand as refrigeration engineers; and
that the said petition is directed to be heard before the
Court sitting at Auckland, on the 24th day of June 1966,
at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said
company desirous to support or oppose the making of an
order on the said petition may appear at the time of the
hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and
a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned

petition for the winding up of the above-named company by

PATEA PICTURES LTD.

REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

Pursuant to section 78 (4) of the Companies Act 1955,
notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand, dated the 5th day of May 1966, confirming
the reduction of capital of the above-named company from
£2,100 to £420 and the minute approved by the Court showing,
with respect to the capital of the company as altered,
the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act
was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 3rd
day of June 1966, the said minute is in the words and figures
following:
"The capital of Patea Pictures Ltd. is £420 divided into
2,100 fully paid ordinary shares of 4s. each having been
reduced from £2,100 divided into 2,100 ordinary shares of
£1 each fully paid."

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice of intention to take land for soil conservation and
river control purposes in the Town of Wallacetown and
Hundreds of Invercargill and New River.
Notice is hereby given that the Southland Catchment
Board proposes to carry out certain river control works on
the Makarewa River, including the straightening of portions
thereof, and that in pursuance of the provisions of the
Public Works Act 1928 the said Board proposes to take the
several pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto for
such purposes.
