COOK COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridges Renewal Loan 1965, No. 3, ₤22,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Cook
County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of ₤22,500 authorised to be raised by the Cook County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
renewing bridges within the county, the said Cook County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ninety-seven
one-thousandths pence (·097 pence) in the pound upon the
rateable value of all rateable property within the whole of
the County of Cook; and that such special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every
year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of
twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Cook County
Council held on Thursday, 26 May 1966.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Offices Loan 1965, ₤60,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Cook
County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of ₤60,000 authorised to be raised by the Cook County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
erecting an office building, the said Cook County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and
eighty-three one-thousandths pence (·183 pence) in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the
whole of the County of Cook; and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period
of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage and Water Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 1,
1966, ₤24,400

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tawa
Borough Council has resolved as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of ₤24,400 authorised to be raised by the Tawa Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
repaying on maturity a portion of the Sewerage and Water
Reticulation Redemption Loan 1953, ₤270,700 which matures
on 15 June and 1 December 1966, the said Tawa Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·276d. in the ₤ upon
the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the
Borough of Tawa; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
half-yearly on the 15th day of June and the 15th day of
December in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid
off."

TAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage and Water Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 2,
1966, ₤4,400

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tawa
Borough Council has resolved as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of ₤4,400 authorised to be raised by the Tawa Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
repaying on maturity a portion of the Sewerage and Water
Reticulation Redemption Loan 1953, ₤270,700 which matures
on 1 July 1966, the said Tawa Borough Council hereby makes
a special rate of 0·060d. in the ₤ upon the rateable value of
all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Tawa;
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on
the 1st day of July and the 1st day of December in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

ST. KILDA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Hall Alteration Loan 1966, ₤8,000

I have to advise that the St. Kilda Borough Council, at
a special meeting convened for the purpose and held on
Thursday the 19th day of May 1966, passed a resolution to
operate as a special order to raise a special loan of ₤8,000
for the purpose of making alterations to borough offices
and the interior of the St. Kilda Town Hall. The resolution
also makes provision for the appropriation and pledging of a
special annual-recurring rate of 0·1175d. in the pound (£)
as security for interest on the said loan and for the repay-
ment thereof. The term of the loan will be 20 years and
will be repaid by half-yearly instalments of principal and
interest. The loan will be raised by the issue of debentures
with interest at the rate of 5½ per cent.

The said resolution was submitted to a special meeting
of the St. Kilda Borough Council, held on the 19th day of
May 1966, for confirmation as a special order.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 3, 1966, ₤30,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of ₤30,000 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
making advances for the erection of houses on rural lands
in the County, in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the
said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of
0·075d. in the ₤ (decimal zero seven five pence in the pound)
on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in
the whole of the County of Rotorua; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 35 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Council held on Tuesday the 31st day of May 1966.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Marlborough County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of ₤30,000 authorised to be raised by the Marlborough
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of advancing money to farmers and the Rural Housing Act
1939, the said Marlborough County Council hereby makes a
special rate of one ninth (1/9d.) in the pound upon the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
