THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

County Council hereby makes a special rate of ¾d. in
the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable
property of the Fox Glacier Township Water Supply Scheme
Special Rating District; and that special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of
September in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Abattoir Loan 1966, of £65,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £65,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of carrying out improvements at the City Abattoir, the said
Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·061d.
in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable
property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of
the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the
above-mentioned date.

RANGITIKEI CATCHMENT BOARD

Housing Loan 1966, £3,900

“THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of £3,900 authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei
Catchment Board under the above-named Act for the purpose
of purchasing land and existing house at Wanganui, the said
Rangitikei Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate of
0·00193 pence in the pound upon the rateable capital value
of all rateable property of the Rangitikei Catchment Dis-
trict, as defined in the N.Z. Gazette, No. 96, dated 14
December 1944, on page 1503; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan and be payable yearly on 1st day of September in
each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

Departure from Operative District Scheme

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Town and Country Plan-
ing Act 1953 and of the regulations made thereunder,
public notice is hereby given that the Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board by order, dated the 5th day of
April 1966 has consented to a specific departure from the
Operative District Scheme for the Borough of Pahiatua by
permitting the applicant, Hugh Adair Morrison, Liquidator
of Lett’s Construction Co. Ltd. (in liquidation), to use the
land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes
defined under “Industrial A” in the Code of Ordinances for
the Pahiatua District Scheme notwithstanding that the land
is and shall remain zoned “Residential”.

SCHEDULE

ALL those parcels of land containing in the aggregate two
roods six perches (2rds. 6 pers.), be the same a little more
or less, being part of Section 16, Block VIII, Mangahao
Survey District, and being also Lots 34 and 36, on Deposited
Plan No. 326, and being also all the land comprised and
described in certificates of title, Volume 73, folio 22 and
Volume 109, folio 232, Wellington Registry, and being also
known as Numbers 11 and 15 Dawson Street, Pahiatua.

Dated at Pahiatua this 25th day of May 1966.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing)
subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
