GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, notice is hereby given that the Gisborne City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities it enabling in that behalf to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a service lane to serve the Elgin shopping centre and for the purpose of such work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required, to be taken is deposited at the office of the Town Clerk to the Council, Municipal Chambers, Fitzherbert Street, Gisborne and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Municipal Chambers, Fitzherbert Street, Gisborne.

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Loan 1966, £6,200
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of six thousand two hundred pounds (£6,200) authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of augmenting the water supply with a second bore, purchasing a pump and land, and extending reticulation, the said Kaikohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one-quarter pence (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kaikohe Borough District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council on the 16th day of May 1966.

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Loan 1966, £4,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of four thousand five hundred pounds (£4,500) authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the sewerage reticulation to include Williams Avenue, Rankin, Hillcrest, and Omapere Roads, the said Kaikohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of five-thirty second pence (5½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kaikohe Borough District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council on the 16th day of May 1966.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Street Improvement Redemption Loan 1966—Final Issue of £22,700
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-two thousand seven hundred pounds (£22,700) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Street Improvement Loan 1952, which matures on the 1st day of July 1966, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-two thousandths of a penny (0·052d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of seven (7) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 30th day of May 1966.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Airport Improvement Redemption Loan 1966, £30,900
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty thousand nine hundred pounds (£30,900) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Airport Improvement Loan 1955, £65,400, final issue of fifty thousand four hundred pounds (£50,400), which matures on the 1st day of July 1966, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-four thousandths of a penny (0·054d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 30th day of May 1966.
