Act 1955, that the final meeting of the creditors of the

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Napier City Council proposes
under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to
execute a certain public work, namely, to erect public
offices in Vautier Street in the City of Napier and for the
purposes of such public work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is
hereby further given that the land so required to be
taken is comprised in a separate lot which is shown on
a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office, Dickens Street,
Napier, in accordance with the provisions of the Land
Transfer Act 1952 and is open for inspection, without fee,
by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land should if they
have any objections to the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections
to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth
the same in writing and send the written objection within
40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Town
Clerk of the Napier City Council, Tennyson Street, Napier.
That if any objection is made in accordance with this notice
a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be ad-
vised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amend-
ments, notice is hereby given that the Palmerston North
City Council intends to take, under the provisions of the
Public Works Act 1928, the lands described in the Schedule
hereto for the purposes of an abattoirs. A plan of the
said lands is deposited at the public office of the Palmerston
North City Council, The Square, Palmerston North, and
is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable
hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said
public work or by the taking of the said lands are hereby
required and called upon to set forth in writing any objection
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking
of the said lands (not being an objection to the amount
or payment of compensation) and to send such writing within
forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to
the Town Clerk of the City of Palmerston North. If any such
objection is made a public hearing of the same will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of such hearing.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Lower Clutha Flood Protection Loan 1965, £225,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otago
Catchment Board, at a meeting held on the 16th day of May
1966, passed the following resolution:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £225,000 authorised to be raised by the Otago
Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of meeting the Board's share of the cost of the
Lower Clutha Flood Control Scheme, the said Otago Catch-
ment Board hereby makes a special rate as set out in the
schedule hereto on the rateable value of all rateable property
of the Lower Clutha Special Rating Area, comprising that
part of the Otago Catchment District as defined in the
New Zealand Gazette, No. 22, dated 12 April 1962, pages
