ORDER

1.This order may be cited as the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power District Boundary Order 1966.
2.The boundaries of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power District are hereby altered so as to include therein the areas described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1.All that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Waimarino County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Matahiwi-Ohotu Road in line with the western boundary of Section 3, Block VIII, Tauakira Survey District; thence generally along the western, northern, and north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 3 to its intersection with the Matahiwi-Ohotu Road; thence generally south-westerly along the middle of that road to the point of commencement; as the said area is shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 712, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
2.All that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Waimarino County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ararimu Stream in line with the northern boundary of Section 8, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District, and being a point on the western boundary of the Makotuku Survey District; thence generally along the northern boundary of the said Section 8, to and across the Jerusalem-Atuahae Road, to and along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 7, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District, to and across the Jerusalem-Atuahae Road to the south-eastern corner of Section 9, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District, being a point on the western boundary of the Makotuku Survey District; thence generally westerly and north-easterly along that western boundary to the point of commencement; as the said area is shown on the said plan, and thereon coloured blue.
3.All that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Waimarino County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Mangoihie Road in line with the north-western boundary of Section 18, Block XV, Rarete Survey District, being a point on the southern boundary of the Waimarino County; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 19, Morikau No. 2 Block, Block XV, Rarete Survey District; thence southerly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 19 to its intersection with the Papakaramu Stream; thence generally north-easterly along the middle of that stream to its confluence with the Mangoihie Stream, being also the eastern boundary of the Rarete Survey District; thence generally easterly and southerly along that boundary to a point on the south-eastern boundary of Section 21, Block XV, Rarete Survey District; thence continuing southerly in a right line to the southern boundary of Mairehau No. 2 Block, Block XIII, Makotuku Survey District, being a point on the southern boundary of the Waimarino County; thence generally westerly, easterly, and northerly along the said County boundary to the point of commencement; as the said area is shown on the said plan, and thereon coloured pink.
4.All that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Waimarino County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Wanganui River in line with the north-western corner of Block X, Rarete Survey District, being a point on the western boundary of the Waimarino County; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Block X, to and along the north-western and eastern boundary of Block XI, Rarete Survey District, to its intersection with the Pipiriki-Raetihi Road; thence easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the Tarupapa Stream; thence southerly along that stream to its intersection with the eastern boundary of the said Block XI; thence southerly along that boundary to its intersection with the south-eastern corner of Section 15, Block XI, Rarete Survey District, being a point on the southern boundary of the Waimarino County; thence generally south-westerly and northerly along the said boundary to the point of commencement; as the said area is shown on the said plan, and thereon coloured pink.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council hereby authorises the Takapuna City Council to reclaim from Hauraki Gulf at Takapuna Beach

that area, being an area of 1 acre, more or less, as shown edged green on plan M.D. 12037 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, being part of the land described in the Takapuna Borough Foreshore Vesting Act 1914 and Crown sea bed.

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, promotion, extensions of commissions, resignation, retirement, and cancellation of commission of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

Cancellation of Commission

The commission of Acting Pilot Officer Campbell Stanley Butcher (82419) is cancelled, with effect from 10 May 1966.

TECHNICAL BRANCH

Appointments

Engine Division

Warrant Officer Noel James Work (70890) is granted a short-service commission in the Technical Branch (Engineer Division), Regular Air Force, for a period ending 10 January 1974 to be followed by four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is appointed in the rank of Flight Lieutenant, with seniority and effect from 11 January 1966.

Corporal Reginald Alexander Richard Burk (78475) is granted a short-service commission in the Technical Branch (Engineer Division) Regular Air Force, for a period ending 10 January 1978 to be followed by four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is appointed in the rank of Pilot Officer with seniority from 11 October 1965, with effect from 11 January 1966.

Leading Aircraftman Donald William Cornor (80913) is granted a short-service commission in the Technical Branch (Signals Division), Regular Air Force, for a period ending 10 January 1978 to be followed by four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is appointed in the rank of Pilot Officer, with seniority and effect from 11 January 1966.
