Departure From Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated the 19th day of January 1966, gave consent to a specified departure from the operative district scheme of the Borough of Mount Albert to the extent indicated hereunder namely:
By permitting Crown Bakery Ltd. to alter the existing buildings erected on the company’s property situated at 333 and 335 Sandringham Road (being Lot 8 on Deposited Plan 3338, and all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 150, folio 215, North Auckland Registry), and to extend the existing buildings on the company’s newly acquired land at 337 Sandringham Road (being Lot 9 on Deposited Plan 3338, and all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 150, folio 165, North Auckland Registry), notwithstanding that the said lands are and shall remain zoned as Commercial “A” and Residential “A” respectively subject however to the following conditions:

Front yard, 32 ft
Side yard on southern boundary only, 15 ft.
Rear yard, Nil -
Maximum Building Height:
No part of the building for a distance of 51 ft on the western boundary to have a height greater than 10 ft above the adjoining ground level, and no part of the building shall pass outside of a line at this height greater than 45° from the horizontal. -
No windows or openings shall be permitted in the wall on the western boundary.

The user shall not—
(a) Cause to be emitted smoke, fumes or noise likely to affect the amenities of the adjoining residential area.
(b) By reason of materials, construction, or design, tend to detract from the amenities of the neighbourhood. -
Provision to be made for off-street parking for 11 vehicles.

All other ordinances and regulations that are applicable to a predominant use shall apply.

Leave reserved to all parties “to apply”.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the ridings of Coromandel and Waiau taken on 5 March 1966, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £14,000 known as the Long Bay Development Loan 1966, for the purpose of constructing improved water and sewerage works and the erection of cabins and cooking facilities at Long Bay Domain Camping Ground, resulted as follows:

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

THE MINING ACT 1926
NOTICE is hereby given that John Neil Aitken, of Patearoa, farmer, will apply to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell at 10 a.m. on Tuesday the 10th day of May 1966, for a licence for a water race to divert one twenty-fifth head of water from Pigburn Creek by a water race commencing about 500 yards above Patearoa-Hamilton Road, terminating at applicant’s Section 14, Block IV, Upper Taieri District.
