Limited Speed Zone Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
- The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* dated the 27th day of January 1958β , which relates to Harihari in Westland County is hereby revoked.
- The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

SITUATED within Westland County at Harihari:
No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) (from Wanganui Flat Road to a point 70 chains measured easterly generally along the said highway from Wanganui Flat Road).
Wanganui Flat Road (from the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to a point 48 chains measured north-easterly generally along Wanganui Flat Road from the said highway).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A Motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive an empty heavy trade motor in connection with hay-making contracts in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
