AMENDMENT TO RULES

Rule 144 to be amended by adding at the end thereof the following paragraph:

“Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this rule and in addition to the obligations therein contained to make payments to the Fidelity Guarantee Fund or to give security by bond every member who:
(i) Is in partnership with any person who is not a member but who is in the opinion of the Executive actively engaged in sharebroking shall be liable to pay to the Association by way of contribution to the Fidelity Guarantee Fund such sums and in such manner in respect of that person as if he were a member and liable to contribute accordingly: or
(ii) Is in partnership with any person who is not a member (whether or not such person is in the opinion of the Executive actively engaged in sharebroking) shall take out and maintain a bond to secure the fidelity of that person in respect of each type of business (other than sharebroking) engaged in by him each such bond to be in the sum of £10,000 or such larger figure as the Executive may from time to time determine and to be in favour of or assigned to the Association provided that the foregoing provisions of this sub-paragraph (ii) shall not apply in respect of any business where that person is already covered by the Real Estate Agents’ Fidelity Guarantee Fund established under the Real Estate Agents Act 1963 or by the New Zealand Society of Accountants Fidelity Fund established under the New Zealand Society of Accountants Amendment Act 1963 or by some other fidelity fund approved for the time being by the Executive.”

Ruatoki Development Scheme, Amending Notice 1966, No. 1
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953:
Now therefore pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Ruatoki Development Scheme Amending Notice 1966, No. 1.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

    Amendment to Rules of Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand
    PURSUANT to section 11 of the Sharebrokers Act 1908, the Governor-General in Council, on 21 February 1966, approved the following amendment to the rules of the Stock Exchange Association.
    Plant Declared Noxious Weed in the County of Ohinemuri
    (Notice No. Ag. 8352)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Ohinemuri County Council on the 8th day of December 1965, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER
THAT acting under the authority given by section 3 (1) of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Ohinemuri County Council resolve by way of special order that the plant named in the Schedule hereto be and the same is hereby declared to be a noxious weed in the whole of the County of Ohinemuri.

Describing the Boundaries of the Bay of Plenty Abattoir District and Specifying the Controlling Authority of the Said District (No. Ag. 8351)

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Meat Act 1964, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purpose of the said Act, notice is hereby given as follows:

  1. The Bay of Plenty Abattoir District shall henceforth comprise the districts of the following local authorities:
    (a) Kawerau Borough Council.
    (b) Mount Maunganui Borough Council.
    (c) Murupara Borough Council.
    (d) Rotorua County Council.
