Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land in Block II, Wairau Survey District, Taranaki County, for a Public School (Oakura School)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for a public school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Oakura and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 26 perches situated in Block II, Wairau Survey District, Taranaki R.D., being Section 158, Town of Oakura; part certificate of title, Volume 15, folio 29, Taranaki Land Registry; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 20137 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Land in the North Auckland Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

Lor 1, D.P. 55090, being part Taupaki Block, situated in Block V, Waitemata Survey District, Waitemata County: Area, 20 acres, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 519, folio 134, limited as to parcels.

As shown on plan No. N41/1, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

The Standards Act 1941—Amendment of Standard Specification

PURSUANT to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 22 February 1966, amended the under-mentioned standard specification by the incorporation of the amendment shown hereunder:

Number and Title of Specification: NZSS 1167:1954 Standing orders for municipalities.

Amendment: No. 5.

Until 31 March 1966 application for copies of the standard specification so amended should be made to the N.Z. Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1, or to the Government Bookshops at Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin. From 1 April 1966 and until further notice, application should be made to the Standards Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington C.1.

Classification of Road in Raglan County

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 13th day of October 1960† as relates to the classification of that portion of road in Raglan County described in the Schedule hereto and hereby approves the Raglan County Council’s proposed classification of the said road as set out in the said Schedule.
