Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Thames County Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s Reserves Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Piako County Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for aerodrome purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Piako, in trust, for that purpose, subject to the terms of an agreement between Her Majesty the Queen and the Piako County Council, dated the 6th day of July 1965, a copy of which is deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, as Auckland Deed No. 5553.
