(d) Payments to technicians or typists working under the
direction of research workers in the Medical School.
(e) The setting up of rooms for research in the Otago
Medical School;
(f) To aid medical research in any other way that may
seem fit.
4. Any apparatus or equipment or books that may be pur-
chased with income from the fund shall be and shall remain
the property of the University of Otago.
5. Any research worker who receives assistance from the
fund and who publishes the result of his research shall on
such publication acknowledge the assistance he has received
from the fund.
A copy of the said scheme has been deposited in and may
be inspected at the Registry Office of the Supreme Court
at Christchurch. It is proposed that the application for
approval be heard at Christchurch on Friday the 22nd day
of April 1966, at 10 a.m. Any person desiring to oppose the
said scheme is required to give written notice of his intention
to do so to the Registrar of the said Court and to the
trustees of the will of the said Miriam Margolish and
to the Attorney-General not less than seven clear days before
the date proposed for hearing of the application.

LOST STOCK CERTIFICATES
APPLICATION has been made to the above company to issue
new certificates of title in lieu of original certificates Nos.
33200, 39644, and 46817, issued in the name of Lewis Welch,
now deceased. The executors of the estate have made a
statutory declaration that the original certificates of title to
the said stock have been lost.
Notice is hereby given that unless within 30 days from the
date hereof there is made to the company some claim or
representation in respect of the said original certificates a
new certificate will be issued in place thereof.

Act 1951, by resolutions of the Christchurch Drainage Board
and published in the New Zealand Gazette.
Pursuant to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch
District Drainage Act 1951, the Christchurch Drainage Board,
at a meeting held on the 22nd day of February 1966, resolved
that the boundary of the said special area hereinbefore des-
cribed and defined be further altered so as to include in the
said special area all those areas briefly described in the
Schedules hereto, and further resolved that the said areas
shall form part of and be included in the subdivision "B" of
the said special area and that the boundaries of said sub-

THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF SCHEME
IN the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and in the
matter of the will of Miriam Margolish, of Christchurch,
widow, deceased, notice is hereby given, pursuant to section
36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the trustees of
the will of the above-named Miriam Margolish have applied
to the Supreme Court at Christchurch for approval of a
scheme for disposition of certain trust funds which, on the
31st day of January 1965, amounted to approximately
Β£6,825 19s. 5d. The said scheme provides that, after payment
of administration expenses and the costs of the proceedings,
the balance of the residuary estate of the said Miriam Mar-
golish together with any accrued interest shall be paid to the
Council of the University of Otago to be held by the said
Council upon trust for the purposes and on the conditions
set out hereunder:
- The fund, to be called the Thomas Hillier Green and
William James Green Fund, shall be administered by the
Council of the University of Otago. - The income from the fund, including any balance of
accumulated income, shall be devoted to such medical research
work in the University of Otago as is determined by the
Council of the said university. - The said Council, without limiting its discretion in the
expenditure of the income of the fund, may apply such
income in any of the following ways:
(a) The purchase of books, apparatus, or equipment re-
quired for medical research work;
(b) Payment to assist publication of medical research
papers;
(c) Payments to research workers working in the Otago
Medical School;
