HAWERA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hawera County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £9,900 authorised to be raised by the Hawera
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing a water supply to the Ohawe Township
Water Supply Area, the said Hawera County Council hereby
makes a special rate of two decimal four pence (2·4d.) in the
pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within
the Ohawe Township Water Supply Area, constituted pursuant
to section 266 of the Counties Act 1956; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable yearly on the 6th day of August
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellington City Housing (Nairn Street - Brooklyn Road) Loan
1965, of £818,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 8th day of December
1965:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of eight hundred and eighteen thousand pounds
(£818,000) authorised to be raised by the Wellington City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
erecting flats, comprising Stage I of the redevelopment scheme
at Nairn Street - Brooklyn Road, the Wellington City Council
hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and twenty five
one-thousandths of a penny (.125d.) in the pound on the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington;
and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency
of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off."

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 4, 1965, £10,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt
County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £10,500 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of
repaying the £12,300 portion of the £18,000 issue of the
Wainuiomata Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1954, £110,000,
which matures on 1 March 1966, the said Hutt County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal 22 pence
in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 56 Special Rating Area, being portion of
the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that
the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 24 years or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Hutt County Council held on 19
January 1966.

MANAIA TOWN COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waterworks Improvements Loan 1965, £14,000
THE following resolution was passed at a duly constituted
meeting of the Manaia Town Council, held at the Council
Chambers, South Road, Manaia, on the 10th day of February
1966:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manaia Town Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £14,000 authorised to be raised by the Manaia
Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes
of carrying out improvements and extensions to the water
reticulation system of the town water supply, the said Manaia
Town Council hereby makes a special rate of three eighths
of one penny (³⁄₈d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on
the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in
the Town District of Manaia; and that the special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period
of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR LOAN
Rotorua City Council Bridge Construction and Stormwater
Drainage Redemption Loan 1965, £14,200
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of fourteen thousand two hundred pounds (£14,200)
to be known as the Rotorua City Council Bridge Construction
and Stormwater Drainage Redemption Loan 1965, of fourteen
thousand two hundred pounds (£14,200) authorised to be
raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions
of the Bridge Construction and Stormwater Drainage Loan
1955, £42,000, which mature on 1 March 1966, the Rotorua
City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought
four four pence (.044d.) in the pound on the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct
copy of resolution of the Rotorua City Council passed on
Tuesday, 8 February 1966.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Bay of Islands County-District Scheme-Country and Opua
Sections Public Notification.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution
of the Bay of Islands County Council, made on the 19th day
of June 1963, the Country and Opua Sections of the district
scheme have been recommended for approval under the Town
and Country Planning Act 1953.
The Country Section of the scheme has been deposited in
the council office, Kawakawa, the town council office, Russell,
and in the Kerikeri, Okaihau, and Ohaeawai Post Offices, and
the Opua Section in the council office at Kawakawa, the town
council office, Russell, and Mr R. G. Matheson's Store, Opua,
in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and there open
to inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at
any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be
in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the
Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be
lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than
the 21st day of May 1966.
At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing
of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within
the period of which public notice will be given.
