Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work to be Crown Land, Subject as to Parts to a Water Easement, and Revoking Previous Notice
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the notice dated the 15th day of September 1965 and published in Gazette, 7 October 1965, No. 58, page 1733, declaring land acquired for a Government work to be Crown land, subject as to parts to a water easement, and declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 11th day of October 1965, subject as to the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto, to the water easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 719034, North Auckland Land Registry.

Licensing National Mortgage and Agency Co. of New Zealand Ltd., Dunedin, Mercantile Branch to Occupy Parts of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Waikawa as a Site for a Slipway
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits National Mortgage and Agency Co. of New Zealand Ltd., Dunedin, Mercantile Branch (hereinafter called the licensee which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy parts of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Waikawa, Southland, for the purposes of maintaining thereon a slipway and cradle as so described and coloured pink on plan marked M.D. 12175, deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of these regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) ($10) and the annual sum so payable shall be five pounds (£5) ($10).
- The licensee shall maintain the structure and machinery marked “Motor Winch and Shelter” and coloured pink on plan marked M.D. 12175.
- A register of applications for slipping shall be kept.
- Subject to the requirements of the licensee’s vessels, the slipway and facilities shall be available to any vessel within the capacity of the slipway.
- The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1965.

Foreshore Licence—Wharf—Kawau Island—Bon Accord Harbour—Mansion House Kawau Ltd.
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Mansion House Kawau Ltd., of Kawau (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Bon Accord Harbour, Kawau Island, as shown on plan marked M.D. 2746 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a wharf thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, and prescribes that the dues and rates set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the licensee for the use of the said wharf.
FIRST SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The premium payable by the company shall be £3 and the annual sum so payable by the company shall be £5.
- The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1965.
- The master of any vessel discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.
SECOND SCHEDULE
BERTHAGE
For each day or part of a day that a vessel occupies a berth at the wharf, or alongside another vessel lying at the wharf, or lies off the said wharf with a line attached thereto, per ton of registered tonnage, 2d.
