ADVERTISEMENT OF PETITION

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of South Pacific Export Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company with registered office at the offices of Mabee, Halstead, and Kiddle, Norwich Union Building, High Street, Auckland, exporters, notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court, was on the 15th day of November 1965, presented to the said Court by Matamata Finance Corporation Ltd., a duly incorporated company with registered office at Matamata; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on Friday the 17th day of December 1965 at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

The notice must state the name, address, and description of the person, or, if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and an address for service within 3 miles of the office of the Supreme Court at Auckland, and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than 4 p.m. on the 16th day of December 1965.

REDUCTION OF CAPITAL
——
In the Supreme Court of New Zealand No. M. 2650

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of John Winlove and Sons Ltd., a private company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office in the Town of Waipukurau and carrying on business as transport operators, Tuesday, the 12th day of October 1965, before the Honourable Mr Justice Tompkins, upon reading the notice of motion for an order confirming reduction of capital, dated the 30th day of September 1965, and the Affidavit of Richard Neil Watson, filed herein and the exhibits therein respectively referred to, it is ordered that the reduction of capital resolved by special resolution dated the 30th day of September 1965, in the following terms:

“It is hereby resolved that the capital of John Winlove and Sons Ltd. be reduced from £42,400 divided into 42,400 ordinary one pound (£1) shares fully paid to £15,000 divided into 30,000 ordinary ten shillings (10s.) shares fully paid and that the amount by which the capital is so reduced be paid in cash to shareholders in proportion pro rata to their respective shareholdings”

be and the same is hereby confirmed and it is further ordered that the following minute showing the amount of capital of the company be and the same is hereby approved:

“The amount of the share capital of John Winlove and Sons Ltd. as altered by order of the Supreme Court confirming the reduction of share capital is £15,000 divided into 30,000 shares of 10s. each and at the date of registration of this minute, the amount of 10s. is deemed to be paid up on each share.”

And it is further ordered that notice of registration of this order and minute be published once in the Gazette within 30 days of registration.

THE DOMINION FARMERS’ INSTITUTE LTD.

NOTICE OF REDUCTION OF CAPITAL
——
In accordance with an order of the Supreme Court made the 30th day of September 1965 by the honourable Mr Justice Tompkins, notice is hereby given:

(1) That the reduction of the capital resolved by the shareholders of the Dominion Farmers’ Institute Ltd. by special resolution passed at a meeting held on the 31st day of August 1965, is confirmed.

(2) That the following minute showing the amount of the paid up capital of the company is approved:

“The paid up capital of the Dominion Farmers’ Institute Ltd. is, firstly £44,175 comprised in 294,500 ordinary “A” shares of 3s. each, having been reduced from £73,625 comprised in 294,500 ordinary shares of 5s. each by the repayment of 2s. per share, and secondly £220,875 comprised in 883,500 ordinary “B” shares of 5s. each, following an ordinary resolution of the Company increasing the capital and dated the 31st day of August 1965.”

Dated at Wellington this 18th day of November 1965.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the portions of land described in the First Schedule hereto, to take for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a road the portion of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and to stop the portions of road described in the Third Schedule hereto.

A plan of the portions of land proposed to be taken and of the portions of road proposed to be stopped is open for public inspection at the office of the Raglan County Council, Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, during 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the council on or before the 5th day of January 1966.
