Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940,* the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Roads Excluded From Speed Limitation and Limited Speed Zone Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
-
That the Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 1st day of April 1964† which relates to Hamilton City is hereby revoked.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and are hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

SITUATED within Hamilton City:
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) (from a point 3 chains measured southerly generally along the said highway from Anglesea Street to a point 3 chains measured northerly generally along the said highway from Lorne Street).
Arterial route via Cobham Drive, Cobham Bridge, Sillary Street, and Hoopers Road (from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) to a point 5 chains measured westerly generally along the said route from Callard Crescent).

Roads Excluded From Speed Limitation and Limited Speed Zones Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

That the Warrants under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 17th day of July 1952* and the 28th day of January 1963† which relate to roads in Wellington City are hereby revoked.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956‡.

SITUATED within Wellington City:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (Hutt Road and Aotea Quay) (from the boundary of Wellington City at Ngauranga to a point 5 chains measured northerly generally along the said highway from Waterloo Quay).

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for scenic purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to form part of the “John Coull Memorial Reserve”, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Wanganui River Scenic Board.
