Social Security Act 1964—Maternity Notice

Pursuant to section 112 (4) of the Social Security Act 1964, the Minister of Health hereby gives notice that Richard Terry Maidstone Caseley, M.B., CH.B.(N.Z.), M.R.C.P.(LOND.), of Milford Chambers, 249 Papanui Road, Christchurch, has notified the Minister that he is unwilling to afford medical services in relation to maternity benefits on the terms provided for in section 112 of the Social Security Act 1964, and consequently he is entitled to recover any fees in respect of his professional services as if neither that Act nor the Social Security Amendment Act 1939 had been passed.

Declaration of Civil Defence Regions

Pursuant to section 15 of the Civil Defence Act 1962, the Minister of Civil Defence hereby gives notice that, for the purposes of the administration of that Act, New Zealand shall be constituted into three districts as described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

NORTHERN CIVIL DEFENCE REGION

The districts of all local authorities situated in that portion of the North Island lying to the north of a line drawn from the sea coast at its junction with the eastern boundary of the County of Opotiki; thence along the southern and south-eastern boundaries of the Counties of Opotiki, Whakatane, and Taupo; thence north along the western boundary of the County of Taupo to its junction with the Waitomo County boundary; thence west along the southern boundary of the County of Waitomo to the sea.

CENTRAL CIVIL DEFENCE REGION

The districts of all local authorities situated in that portion of the North Island lying south of the boundary line herein-before described in relation to the Northern Civil Defence Region.

SOUTHERN CIVIL DEFENCE REGION

The districts of all local authorities situated in the South Island, the County of Stewart Island, and the County of Chatham Islands.
