The Standards Act 1941—Amendment of Standard Specification

PURSUANT to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 29 October 1965, amended the under-mentioned standard specification by the incorporation of the amendment shown hereunder:

Number and Title of Specification: NZSS 1294:1965 General requirements for the metal-arc welding of structural steel tubes to BS 1775; being BS 938:1962.

Amendment: No. A.

Application for copies of the standard specification so amended should be made to the N.Z. Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1, or to the Government Bookshops at Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin.

Copies of the amendment will be supplied, free of charge, upon request.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 10 December 1965.

Classification of State Highway

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport, as required by the National Roads Board, hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 8th day of June 1965† which relates to the State highway described in the Schedule hereto and hereby declares that the said highway shall belong to the class as set out in the said Schedule.
