Declaring Land in Roadways Laid Out in Block III, Uawa Survey District, Cook County, to be Road

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in roadways laid out by the Maori Land Court by orders dated the 31st day of January 1917 and the 13th day of November 1964 to be road.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

All those pieces of land situated in Block III, Uawa Survey District, Cook County, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Being 1 0 11 7 Roadway being part Kopuataraikihi 2c Block. 1 2 34 1 Roadway being part Kopuataraikihi 2B Block.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19789 (M.L. 5575), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of October 1965.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Wellington-Napier via Woodville Railway (Portion of Rimutaka Tunnel Deviation) in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, Hutt County

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of February 1949 and published in Gazette, 24 February 1949, Volume I, page 619, and registered in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3990, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington-Napier via Woodville Railway (portion of Rimutaka Tunnel Deviation) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 3 roods 32 1 perches situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, and being Lots 11 and 12, D.P. 12438. All certificate of title, Volume 492, folio 171, Wellington Land Registry.

Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Ashley County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

All existing rights of way over the land coloured blue on the plan on certificate of title, Volume 285, folio 118, Wellington Land Registry, whether implied by D.P. 1831 or otherwise created, to which the area containing 17 86 perches, being part Lot 15, D.P. 1831, being part Section 128, Hutt District, coloured orange on plan, is subject.
