HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Proposals for District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Hobson County Council,
at its meeting held on 6 October 1965, has resolved to prepare
for the County of Hobson a district scheme as required by
the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district as
defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full
information as to the proposals (including public works) which,
in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation
of the scheme.
Proposals marked “Hobson County District Scheme” should
be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the office
of the Council on or before Friday, 25 February 1966.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1953 and the Regulations thereunder, the Waipa County
Council hereby gives notice that, by a resolution dated the
16th day of August 1965, the Council granted the New
Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd. consent to a specified
departure from the bulk and location requirements of the
code of ordinance of section 6 (rural) of the Waipa County
District Scheme to enable the said company to erect a milk-
powder factory, on the land described in the Schedule hereto,
to a maximum height of 130 ft.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 50 acres, more or less, being
part Allotments 1 and 2, Parish of Pukete, and being all the
land in certificate of title, Volume 524, folio 141 (South
Auckland Registry).

SOUTHLAND COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public Notification of Southland County District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Southland County Council made on the 26th day of
June 1964, a district scheme has been recommended for
approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The scheme relates to the County of Southland, excluding
the former Lumsden Town District.
The scheme has been deposited in the County Office,
Invercargill, and in the Gore and Winton Public Libraries,
in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is open for
inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any
time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme, or to any part thereof, shall be
in writing in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the
Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be
lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than
Monday, 31 January 1966.
At a later date, every objection will be open for public
inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections if he notifies the County Clerk, in writing, within
the period of which public notice will be given.

THE MINING ACT 1926
NOTICE is hereby given that Albert Edward Smith, of Wanaka
Road, farmer, will apply by application No. 74 to the Warden
of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell at 10 a.m. on
Tuesday the 23rd day of November 1965 for a licence for a
water race to divert 2 heads of water from the Clutha River
by a race commencing about ¼ mile north of where the
Edwardburn joins and terminating in Section 3, Block IX,
Tarras S.D.
Objections must be filed in the office of the Mining Registrar,
Cromwell, and notified to applicant whose address for service
is at the office of Brodrick and Parcell, Solicitors, Melmore
Street, Cromwell, at least three days before the above-
mentioned time of hearing.

DECLARATION OF RESULT OF A POLL HELD UNDER SECTION 40
OF THE RATING ACT 1925
PURSUANT to section 42 of the Rating Act 1925, I, Hugh
Morrish Besley, Chairman of the Taupo County Council,
hereby declare that the poll taken on the proposal to adopt
the system of rating on the basis of unimproved value resulted
as follows:

2,832 votes
782 votes
72 votes
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
