“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the loan of £57,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of the provision of public conveniences and changing sheds
on various beaches, reserves, and public places throughout the
county, together with all costs incidental thereto, the Waite-
mata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·039d.
in the pound (£) on the rateable unimproved value of all
rateable property in the County of Waitemata; and further
resolves that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly
on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on
23 September 1965.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Roading Improvement Redemption Loan 1965, £5,900
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of £5,900 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
repaying on maturity that portion of the Roading Improve-
ment Loan 1952 which matures on 1 December 1965, the said
Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of one
twenty-eighth of a penny (½₈d.) in the pound upon the rateable
unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of
Rotorua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the said loan, being a period of 10 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
passed at a meeting of the Rotorua County Council held on
the 19th day of October 1965.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan 1965, £20,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Wairoa
Electric Power Board held on the 18th day of October 1965,
the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wairoa Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairoa Electric
Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit
of the Wairoa Electric Power Board District, the said Wairoa
Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of point
nought four three of one penny (·043d.) in the pound (£)
upon the capital value of all rateable property within the
Wairoa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable on the 1st day of March in every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until
the loan is paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Development Loan 1965, £300,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Wai-
rarapa Electric Power Board held on the 25th day of August
1965, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wairarapa Electric Power Board resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £300,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa
Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of supplying and distributing power within the Wai-
rarapa Electric Power District, the said Wairarapa Electric
Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one-eighth of a
penny (⅛d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value on the
basis of the capital value of all rateable property of the Waira-
apa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Otaki Borough Council Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1965, £10,650
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act 1956, the Otaki Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £10,650 authorised to be raised by the
Otaki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of meeting part of the cost of erecting 10 two-
person unit flats for pensioners, the said Otaki Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of (·103d.) decimal
one nought three of a penny in the pound upon the rateable
value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable
property of the Borough of Otaki; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and
that a copy of such resolution under seal be forwarded to the
State Advances Corporation of New Zealand.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a reso-
lution passed by the Otaki Borough Council at a meeting held
on 19 October 1965.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellington City Housing (Heath Street) Additional Loan 1965
of £22,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 6th day of September
1965:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of twenty-two thousand pounds (£22,000) to be
known as the Wellington City Housing (Heath Street) Addi-
tional Loan 1965 of £22,000 authorised to be raised by the
Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of completing the purpose for which Housing
Loan No. 2 1963 was sanctioned, the said purpose being to
erect accommodation for old people and rental units for single
people, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special
rate of four one-thousandths of a penny (0·004d.) in the
pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved
value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City
of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year
during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty
(40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Transport Centre Loan 1965, £21,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Porirua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing for the annual charges
on a loan of £21,000 authorised to be raised by the Porirua
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for Transport
Centre Loan 1965, the said Porirua City Council hereby makes
a special rate of 0·061d. in the pound upon the unimproved
value of all rateable property in the whole of the City of
Porirua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 14th day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.”
I certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a
meeting of the Porirua City Council held on 20 October 1965.
