HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. This order may be cited as the Raetihi Borough Council Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1959, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Raetihi Borough Council Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1959* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

2. The principal order is hereby amended by omitting the First Schedule thereto (as substituted by the Order in Council dated the 12th day of August 1959 and published in the Gazette on the 13th day of the same month at page 1102) and substituting the following Schedule:

"FIRST SCHEDULE

"ELECTRIC LINES

"LINES for the transmission and supply of electrical energy within all that area in the Wellington Land District, comprising the Borough of Raetihi and part County of Waimarino, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Wanganui River in line with the north-western boundary of Waimarino 5B 5 in Block IX, Whirinaki Survey District, and proceeding generally north-easterly to and along that boundary, the south-western and north-western boundaries of Waimarino 5B 1B, the north-western boundaries of Waimarino 5B 1A, Section 1, Block X, Whirinaki Survey District and Waimarino 5A 3, to the northern boundary of Block X, Whirinaki Survey District; thence easterly along that boundary and the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block XI, Whirinaki Survey District, to the eastern boundary of the said Block X; thence due south to the north-western boundary of Section 6, Block XV, Whirinaki Survey District; thence north-easterly along that boundary and south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of that section, and its production across Murumuru Road to and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 9, Block XV, aforesaid, to the north-western boundary of Waimarino 3 Block; thence generally easterly along that boundary and the north-eastern boundaries of that block to the middle of the Manganuioteao River, up the middle of that river to a point due south of the westernmost corner of the south-western part of Section 20, Block X, Manganui Survey District; thence due north to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 14266; thence generally north-easterly along that boundary, the north-eastern boundary of that lot, to and along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Sections 14 and 13, Block IX, Manganui Survey District, and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 4, Block VI, Manganui Survey District, to the south-western boundary of Section 24, Block VII, Manganui Survey District; thence generally southerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Manganuioteao River, down the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 23, Block XI, Manganui Survey District, to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of Mangaturuturu Road, along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block XI, Manganui Survey District, to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Mangaturuturu Stream; thence generally easterly up the middle of that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 29, Block XI, aforesaid, to and along that boundary, the south-western boundaries of Sections 30 and 31, Block XI, aforesaid, and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 31 and 28, the abutment of a public road, and Section 27, all of Block XI, aforesaid, to and along the middle of Makara Road, to and along the northern block boundary of Block XVI, Manganui Survey District, to the eastern boundary of that block; thence due south to the north-eastern boundary of Raetihi 5A, Block XVI, Manganui Survey District; thence north-westerly along that boundary, to the north-western boundary of that subdivision; thence generally south-westerly along that boundary and its production to and along the north-western boundaries of Sections 2 and 14, Block IV, Makotuku Survey District, and the north-eastern boundary

of the said Section 14, to the eastern boundary of the North Island Main Trunk Railway; thence southerly along that boundary to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 16, Block IV, aforesaid, to and south-westerly along that boundary and the north-western boundary of Lot 13, D.P. 4518, and its production to the south-western side of No. 49A State Highway (Tohanga Road); thence generally southerly along that side to and along the north-western boundaries of Lot 5, D.P. 3802, and Lot 1, D.P. 3713, the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 3713, to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 3713, to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Mangawhero River; thence generally north-easterly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary, crossing Burns Street and the Raetihi-Ohakune Railway, and its production to the south-western side of Makaranui Road; thence generally southerly along that side to and along the south-eastern boundary of part Section 23, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District, (substation site) as shown on S.O. Plan 20371, along a right line from the southernmost corner of the said part Section 23, to and along the eastern boundary of Section 52, Block VII, Makotuku Survey District, the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 4 of Section 4, Block VII, aforesaid, and the south-eastern boundary of Section 12, Block VII, aforesaid, and its production to the northernmost corner of Otiranui 1J, along the eastern boundary of that subdivision to the generally southern boundary of the Otiranui Block; thence generally easterly along that boundary, crossing a public road, to the western boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Karioi Survey District; thence generally southerly along that boundary to and along the northern side of Oruakukura Road to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 1, Block XIII, Karioi Survey District, to and along that boundary and the western boundary of Section 8, Block XIII, aforesaid, and its production to the middle of the Rangiahu Stream, down the middle of that stream to and along the middle of Fields Track to the northern boundary of Block VII, Ngamatea Survey District, thence generally westerly along that boundary, the eastern and southern boundaries of Ohotu 7B 2A, the eastern and southern boundaries of Ohotu 7B 1, the southern boundaries of Sections 3, 2, and 1, Block II, Ngamatea Survey District, and the southern boundary of Section 1, Block V, Ngamatea Survey District, and its production to the middle of the Manga-whero River, up the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block V, aforesaid, to and along that boundary to the generally western boundary of the said Section 4; thence generally northerly along that boundary and the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block VIII, Tauakira Survey District, and the southern boundary of that section and its production to the middle of the Matahiwi Track, and along the middle of that track to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block VIII, aforesaid; thence generally north-westerly to and along that boundary, the north-western boundary of that section to and up the middle of the Mangaetoroa Stream and the Orouanga Stream to and along the generally southern, south-western, and northern boundaries of Mairehau 2A to the western boundary of Mairehau 2B; thence generally northerly along that boundary, crossing Waipuna Road, the northern boundary of the said Mairehau 2B and its production to the middle of Waipuna Road, along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 7, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District, to and along that boundary and the north-eastern boundary of that section and its production to and along the northern boundary of Section 8, Block IX, aforesaid, and its production to the middle of the Ararimu Stream; thence generally south-westerly down the middle of that stream, to and down the middle of the Mangoihe Stream, to and up the middle of the Papakaramu Stream, to and along the eastern boundary of Moukau 2, Section 19, and its production to the middle of Mangoihe Road, and along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Waharangi 4, Section 12; thence generally north-westerly along the generally south-western and north-western boundaries of that section, the generally south-western and northern boundaries of Waharangi 4, Section 17, to and down the middle of the Tarupapa Stream to the middle of the Pipiriki-Raetihi road; thence generally westerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Waharangi 5, Section 22; thence generally northerly to and along that boundary and the generally eastern boundary of Waharangi 5, Section 8, to and south-westerly along the generally north-western boundary of Waharangi 5, Section 8, to the southern boundary of Block VIII, Rarere Survey District; thence due west to the middle of the Wanganui River; thence generally northerly up the middle of that river to the point of commencement; as the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 687, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon outlined in yellow."

3. The Order in Council dated the 12th day of August 1959, and published in the Gazette on the 13th day of the same month at page 1102, is hereby consequentially revoked.
