Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken in Block VIII, Wairere Survey District, Piako County

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I also hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; and I further declare that the pieces of road first and secondly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, shall vest, together with the land described in the said Third Schedule, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Piako, and that the pieces of road sixthly and seventhly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Gerard Sweeney, of Waharoa, farmer.
