Revoking a Proclamation Declaring Land in the Southland Acclimatisation District as a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation, issued on the 30th day of April 1957 and published in the Gazette of 9 May 1957, No. 37, at page 799, declaring land in the Southland Acclimatisation District as a wildlife refuge for the purpose of the Wildlife Act 1953, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

LOT 11, D.P. 3030, being part of Section 19, Block XXI, Invercargill Hundred: Area, 283 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 142, folio 226.

As shown on plan marked I.A. 52/393, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of October 1965.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of an aerodrome and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rotorua as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of October 1965.
