Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of Street at East Town
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Wanganui City Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Being
0 0 0·2 Part railway land situated in Block I, Ikitara Survey District, City of Wanganui (S.O. 26253).
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 20372, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of October 1965.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Temuka to Road Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette become road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Geraldine County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as the other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Declaring Land in Otago Land District, Vested in the Otago Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Otago Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

PART Sections 7 and 9 (D.P. 3064), Block III, Upper Kaikorai Survey District: Area, 5 acres and 12·6 perches, more or less, part certificate of title, Volume 274 folio 164. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1165k, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange and blue (S.O. 13355).
