"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £19,500 authorised to be raised by the Howick Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Bulk Supply Loan 1955, £27,750, which mature on 1 October 1965, the said Howick Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·136d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Howick; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Howick-Pakuranga Water-supply Joint Renewal Loan 1965

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £19,500 authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Howick-Pakuranga Water-supply Loan 1955, £27,750, which mature on 1 October 1965 within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one five three pence (·0153d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Waianakarua Water Supply Loan 1965

"THAT, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of five thousand five hundred pounds (£5,500) authorised to be raised by the Waitaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a water supply in the Waianakarua Water Supply District, the said Waitaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·703 pence in the pound (£) upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the special rating area comprising the Waianakarua Water Supply District; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Awatere Water Supply Extension Loan 1965, £2,650

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Awatere County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of two thousand six hundred and fifty pounds authorised to be raised under the above Act for the purpose of extending the water supply in Grassmere to properties in the Hauwai area, the said Awatere County Council hereby makes a special rate of eighty-five one hundredths of a penny in the pound upon the capital rateable value of all rateable properties comprising the Hauwai Special Rating Area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of November and the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

It is hereby certified that the above is a true copy from the minutes of the meeting of the Awatere County Council held on the 9th day of September 1965.

"THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Milton Borough Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of repayment of the Sewerage Supplementary Loan 1965, £9,200 and interest thereon, the Council appropriates and pledges a special annually recurring rate of 0·7d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Milton comprising the whole of the Borough of Milton."

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of £10,000 to be known as the Baths Reconstruction Loan 1965 authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the provision of a filtration plant at and repairs to the Waimataitai and the West End Baths, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-two thousandths of a penny (0·052d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."
