(c) That for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 1,
1965, £3,900 the said council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of 0.0034 pence in the pound on the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property
within the County of Waitemata; and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the
currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day
of June each year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 14 years or until the loan is fully
paid off."

a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 2, 1965, £14,600

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"Whereas the sum of £16,600 borrowed by the Waitemata
County Council under the Water Supply Development Loan
1958, £130,000 is due and payable on the 1st day of November
1965, and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said
loan amounts to only £2,000 and the sum of £14,600 is
required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County
Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of £14,600 for the purpose of
repaying the said loan.
(b) That the sum of £14,600 shall be payable on the 1st
day of November 1989 or such earlier date as may
be determined by council.
(c) That for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 2,
1965, £14,600 the said council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of 0.64 pence in the pound on the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property
within the Te Atatu Riding; and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the
currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st
day of June each year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 24 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off."

of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on

NELSON HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson
Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Nelson
Harbour Board for the purpose of carrying out certain harbour
works on the Nelson Harbour as authorised by the Nelson
Harbour Board Empowering Act 1961, the said Nelson Harbour
Board hereby makes a special rate of one twenty-fifth of a
penny upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital
value) of all rateable property in the Nelson Harbour Board
District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
1 October in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Nelson Harbour Board on the 20th
day of September 1965.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as
follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of eight thousand two hundred and ten pounds (£8,210)
to be known as the Pensioners' Housing Loan 1965 authorised
to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting flats for
pensioners, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes

a special rate of nought decimal nought one pence (0.01d.)
in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City
of New Plymouth; and that the said special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day
of October in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the
loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New
Plymouth City Council held on the 27th day of September 1965.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 14, 1965, £22,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of twenty-two thousand pounds (£22,000)
authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on
maturity those portions of the Normandale Water Supply
Loan 1959, £11,500, and the Normandale Sewerage Loan No.
2, 1959, £36,000, which mature on 1 December 1965, the said
Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one hundred and sixty-one thousandths of a penny
(0.161d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the
basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City
of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be incorporated
and added to the consolidated special rate, made
pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or about the
1st day of August in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until such
time as the loan is paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 27
September 1965.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty
Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges
on a loan of twenty-one thousand pounds (£21,000) authorised
to be raised by the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming at
maturity the outstanding liability in respect of a portion
(£25,000) of the Extensions Loan 1954 of £75,000, and the
outstanding liability in respect of a portion (£30,000) of the
Extensions Loan (East Coast) 1953 of £150,000, the Poverty
Bay Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one ninety-ninth of a penny (1/99) in the pound on the
rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable
property in that portion of the Poverty Bay Electric Power
District as is contained in the Cook County (including the
Patutahi Town District), Waikohu County, Waiapu County,
and the City of Gisborne; and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
