  1. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day
    of August 1965.

  2. The Master of every vessel discharging ballast at the
    said wharf or stone jetty shall have all such ballast taken
    away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as
    may be approved by the Minister or any person appointed by
    the Minister for that purpose.

Licensing Lane and Sons Ltd., of Totara North, to Use and
Occupy Parts of the Foreshore and Bed of Whangaroa
Harbour as a Site for a Sawmill and Shed

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Lane and Sons Ltd. (hereinafter
called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or
assigns unless the context requires a different construction),
to use and occupy parts of the foreshore and bed of the sea
at Whangaroa, as shown on plans marked M.D. 2229A and
M.D. 2251 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department
at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a
sawmill and shed as shown on the said plans, such licence
to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to
the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
    far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable shall be three pounds (£3) and the
    annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

  3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
    day of April 1965.

Land in the North Auckland Land District Acquired as
Permanent State Forest Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule
hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as
permanent State forest land.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
SECTION 3, Block I, Whangarei Survey District, Whangarei
County: Area, 300 acres, more or less. All certificate of title,
Volume 215, folio 263.

As shown on plan No. 9/45, deposited in the Head Office of
the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

The Standards Act 1941—Standard Specification Revoked

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Standards Act 1941 and
regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and
Commerce, on 24 August 1965, revoked the under-mentioned
standard specification:

NZSS 1272:1957 Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables and
flexible cords for electric power and lighting (for working
voltages up to 250 volts); being BS 2004:1955 amended to
meet New Zealand requirements. (Superseded by NZSS
1908:1965.)
