“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,300 authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewer Drainage Loan 1959, £108,519, which matures on 16 September 1965, the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal three eight six pence (0·386d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Pukekohe comprising the whole of the Borough of Pukekohe; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 16th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL


RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE


PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000) authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing property for the Brown’s Bay Beach Reserve, the said East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one one five pence (‘115d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of East Coast Bays; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring special rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the East Coast Bays Borough Council at a duly constituted meeting held on the 3rd day of August 1965.

Inviting Proposals for the Taradale District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Taradale Borough Council, at its meeting held on 31 August 1965, resolved to prepare for the borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which in his or its opinion should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “Taradale District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk, Box 8, Taradale, and delivered to his office on or before the 15th day of January 1966.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY


SPECIAL ORDER


Property Loan No. 1, 1965, £23,500

THE Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, to borrow the sum of £23,500 as a special loan to be known as Property Loan No. 1, 1965, £23,500, for the purpose of meeting costs and expenses of and incidental to the acquisition of the property situated at 72 Wellesley Street West, Auckland.

The foregoing special order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Authority held on the 16th day of July 1965. It was publicly notified in the Auckland Star on the 22nd day of July 1965 and the 17th day of August 1965 and confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the Authority held on the 20th day of August 1965.

The Common Seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereto affixed this 20th day of August 1965.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL


WANGANUI MASONIC HALL TRUST BOARD ACT 1965


IN the matter of the standing orders of the House of Representatives relating to Private Bills and in the matter of a Private Bill intituled “The Wanganui Masonic Hall Trust Board Act 1965”, notice is hereby given that Lionel Claude Young, of Wanganui, company director, intends to present a petition to the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled for the passing of the above-mentioned Bill.

The objects of the said Bill are:

(a) To constitute a body corporate to be known as the Wanganui Masonic Hall Trust Board with perpetual succession and a common seal for the purpose of holding and administering certain land and the hall or building situate thereon situated in the City of Wanganui and now held under the terms of a deed of conveyance bearing date the 20th day of June 1883.

(b) To vary the terms of the said deed of conveyance by including in the lodges to benefit thereunder all lodges now or hereafter to be established in the City of Wanganui under charter from the Grand Lodge of New Zealand of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.

The promoter of the Bill is the above-named Lionel Claude Young, whose address is care of Messrs McBeth, Withers, and Young, Solicitors, 23 Wicksteed Place, Wanganui, to which address all communications and notices may be sent. Printed copies of the Bill will be deposited in the Private Bill office, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, on the 17th day of September 1965, and the Bill may be inspected at the offices of Messrs McBeth, Withers, and Young, solicitors for the promoter, at the address aforesaid.
