Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 20th day of September 1965.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 13 acres 1 rood 9 perches situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District, Hutt County, Wellington R.D., and being Section 758, Hutt District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19691 (S.O. 25911), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Block IV, Waitoa Survey District, Piako County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for soil conservation and river control purposes, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Te Aroha and is there open for inspection; and that every person affected by the taking of the said land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 50 acres 1 rood situated in Block IV, Waitoa Survey District, being part Awaiiti No. 7 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19675 (S.O. 42974), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Licensing Mount Maunganui Marineland Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Moturiki Island as a Ramp

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Mount Maunganui Marineland Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Moturiki Island, as marked “Stage I” shown on plan marked M.D. 11960 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be £5 and the annual sum so payable £10.
  3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of March 1965.

PURSUANT to the provision of the Standards Act 1941 and regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 8 September 1965, revoked the standard specifications listed in the Schedule hereto.

NZSS 1074:1952 Guide to the method of specifying helical compression springs; being BS 1726:1951 (Superseded by NZSR 14:Part 1:1965).

NZSS 546:1959 Light-gauge copper tubes for water, gas, and sanitation; being BS 659:1955 amended to meet New Zealand requirements. (Superseded by NZSS 1755:1965.)
