incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland, merchants; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch on the 13th day of October 1965 at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road, being portion of Ray Wright’s Road, within the County of Franklin, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by and who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the 8th day of September 1965, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan No. 2, 1965, £29,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1965, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £29,500 authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Street Improvements Loan 1952, £120,000, and the Street Improvements Loan 1959, £120,000, which mature on 17 August and 1 and 31 December 1965, the said Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·087d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 31 August 1965.

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waterworks Extension Loan 1965, of £25,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending water reticulation within the city, the said Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·057d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 31 August 1965.

THE WAITEMATA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Extension and Reinforcement Loan (1965) £1,000,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively and all other powers it enabling, the Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing half-yearly instalments of interest and yearly instalments of principal and other charges on a loan of £1,000,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned enactments in order to provide moneys for the purpose of extending and reinforcing the reticulation system throughout the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District, the Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 156/1000 of a 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all the rateable property within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District as defined in the Proclamation appearing in the Gazette dated 18 October 1923 and amended by Proclamations appearing in Gazettes dated 27 November 1924, 26 August 1926, 7 March 1929, 24 January 1935, 14 April 1954, and by section 44 of the Local Legislation Act 1961; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was carried at a meeting of the Waitemata Electric Power Board held on the 24th day of August 1965.

VINCENT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Building Supplementary Loan 1964, £2,200
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Vincent County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a supplementary loan of £2,200 authorised to be raised by the Vincent County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Building Loan 1961, £22,000, was raised, the said Vincent County Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought nought eight two pence (0·00082d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special rating area, comprising the whole of the County of Vincent; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Vincent County Council held on the 27th day of May 1965, and confirmed at a meeting of the Council held on the 29th day of July 1965.
