IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Colvan Industries Ltd. (in liquidation), notice is hereby given that by an entry in its minute book signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of Companies Act 1955, the above-named company on the 18th day of August 1965, passed a resolution for voluntary winding up and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will accordingly be held at Room 10, Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Courthouse Lane, at 10.30 a.m., on Thursday, 2 September 1965.

Business:

Consideration of a statement of the position of the company’s affairs and list of creditors.

Nomination of liquidator.

Appointment of committee of inspection if thought fit.

MINUTES of shareholders meeting of Colvan Industries Ltd., held at 12 England Street, Ponsonby, at 4.30 p.m., on 18 August 1965, it is resolved that it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily and that Mr Terence John Corbett, public accountant, of Auckland, be, and he is hereby appointed, liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.

Notice of Meeting of Creditors

PURSUANT to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that a resolution for voluntary winding up was passed by entry in the minute book of Edgecombe’s Milk Bar Ltd. on the 20th day of August 1965 and that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955 at Phoenix House, Boardroom, Third Floor, Phoenix House, Tennyson Street, Napier, on Monday the 30th day of August 1965 at 4 p.m. at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, notice is hereby given that the Auckland Regional Authority proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to take the land in the Schedule hereto for a regional reserve.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Auckland Regional Authority, at Rexall House, at the corner of Customs Street West, and Albert Street, Auckland, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected who have any objection to the taking of the said lands (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must set forth such objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the Auckland Regional Authority, at Rexall House, corner of Customs Street West, and Albert Street, Auckland.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 79 acres 3 roods 36·6 perches, more or less, being Lot 4, on Deposited Plan 10077, being portion of Allotment 7A, of the Parish of Waipareira, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 291, folio 151, of the North Auckland Register Book, at Auckland.

The said land is situated at the end of Opanuku Road, a no-exit road at the higher end of Henderson Valley Road, Henderson.
