S. 182, to the northernmost corner of Section 36, Block VI, of the aforesaid survey district; thence generally easterly and south-westerly along the generally northern and south-eastern boundaries of that last-mentioned section, along a right line across a public road, to and south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of part Section 9, along a right line across a public road, part Section 16, along another right line across the aforesaid public road, Sections 8 and 10, all being situated in Block VI aforesaid, part Lot 1, D.P. 31800, along a right line across a public road and part Lot 4, D.P. 31800 aforesaid, to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary with the middle line of the Waipa River; thence generally north-westerly down the middle line of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of part Otorohanga 1d 2b Block (Gravel Reserve, New Zealand Gazette 1917, page 180); thence north-easterly along a right line to and along the south-eastern boundaries of part Otorohanga 1d 2b Block aforesaid, and part Otorohanga 1d 2b 1 Block, to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned block, being a point on the boundary of the Otorohanga Borough as described in New Zealand Gazette 1953, page 1515; thence north-easterly and generally westerly along that boundary to its intersection with the generally south-eastern side of the Auckland-Wellington Railway; thence generally north-easterly along that side of the aforesaid railway to the point of commencement.
PAEWHEHUA RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the north-western boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 31800, with the middle line of the Waipa River, situated in Block VI, Mangaorongo Survey District, being a point on the generally south-eastern boundary of the Kiokio Riding as hereinbefore described, and proceeding generally north-easterly along that boundary, to and generally south-easterly along the generally south-western boundary of the Korakonui Riding as hereinbefore described, to and generally southerly along the generally western boundary of the Ngaroma Riding as hereinbefore described, to the northernmost corner of part Rangitoto A 24b Block, situated in Block XVI, Mangaorongo Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of that last-mentioned part Rangitoto A 24b Block, and Rangitoto A No. 19 Block, to and northerly and westerly along the eastern and northern boundaries of Rangitoto No. 1 Block, to and again northerly along the western boundaries of Rangitoto A 46b 3 and 46b 2 Blocks, Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 29574, part Rangitoto A 47a Block, to and north-westerly and northerly along the south-western and western boundaries of Section 17, Block XI, Mangaorongo Survey District, to and northerly and generally westerly along the eastern and generally northern boundaries of Section 45 of Block X, Mangaorongo Survey District, and that last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Waipa River; thence generally north-westerly down the middle of that river to the point of commencement.

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, as described in New Zealand Gazette 1922, page 1193.
HONIKIWI RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, as described in New Zealand Gazette 1949, page 2416.
WAIPA RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, as described in New Zealand Gazette 1926, page 1097.
KAWHIA NORTH RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, as described in New Zealand Gazette 1956, page 421.

The above special order was passed at a special meeting of the Otorohanga County Council held on the 21st day of May 1965 and duly confirmed as such at a meeting of the Council held on the 30th day of July 1965.

Price Order No. 1986 (Bananas)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, I, Alfred Gaynor Beadle, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of Industries and Commerce acting under a delegation from the Price Tribunal, hereby make the following price order:

This order may be cited as Price Order No. 1986 and shall come into force on the 6th day of September 1965.

(1) Price Order No. 1969* is hereby revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this order.
(3) References in this order to metropolitan areas are references to the metropolitan areas described in the Schedule hereto.
APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER
- This order applies with respect to all bananas sold by way of retail in New Zealand.
FIXING MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICES OF BANANAS
- (1) The maximum price that may be charged or received by any retailer for any bananas to which this order applies shall be determined as follows:
(a) When sold by a retailer carrying on business in any of the metropolitan areas of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin, or in any of the Cities or Boroughs of Whangarei, Takapuna, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Stratford, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Napier, Hastings, Blenheim, Nelson, Greymouth, Timaru, Westport, Oamaru, Balclutha, Gore, or Invercargill—
1s. 3d. per pound.
(b) With respect to bananas sold elsewhere in New Zealand, at the rate of 1s. 3½d. per pound.
(2) If in respect of any lot of bananas the price calculated in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this clause is not an exact number of pence or halfpence, the maximum price of the lot shall be computed to the next upward halfpenny.
PROVISIONS FOR SPECIAL PRICES
- Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the foregoing provisions of this order, and subject to such conditions, if any, as it thinks fit, the Tribunal, on application by any retailer, may authorise special maximum prices in respect of any bananas to which this order applies where special circumstances exist, or for any reason extraordinary charges (freight or otherwise) are incurred by the retailer. Any authority given by the Tribunal under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or consignment of bananas, or may relate generally to all bananas to which this order applies sold by the retailer while the approval remains in force.
DUTY IMPOSED ON RETAILERS
- Every retailer who offers or exposes for sale in any shop any bananas to which this order applies shall keep in a prominent position in such proximity to the bananas to which it relates as to be obviously in relation thereto a ticket, placard, or label on which shall be stated in legible and prominent characters the retail price per pound of the bananas.
