REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Suburbs Investment Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Wellington, notice is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 13th day of August 1965, confirming the reduction of the share capital of the above-mentioned company from £30,000 to £15,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 23rd day of August 1965. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The amount of share capital of Suburbs Investment Co. Ltd. as altered by the order of the Supreme Court confirming the reduction of the share capital of the company is fifteen thousand pounds (£15,000) divided into six thousand (6,000) shares of two pounds ten shillings (£2 10s.) each, and at the date of registration of this minute the amount of two pounds ten shillings (£2 10s.) is deemed to be paid up on each share.”

REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Harcourt Furniture Co. Ltd., notice is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 9th day of December 1964, confirming a special resolution for the reduction of capital of the company from £1,500, comprised of 3,000 ordinary shares fully paid up of 10s. each, to £750, comprised of 3,000 ordinary shares fully paid up of 5s. each, and a minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital as altered, the several particulars required by the above statute were registered with the Registrar of Companies at Christchurch on the 16th day of August 1965; and notice is hereby further given that the said minute is in the words and figures following:

“That the capital of Harcourt Furniture Co. Ltd. was, by virtue of a special resolution and with the sanction of an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 9th day of December 1964, reduced from the former capital of £1,500 divided into 3,000 ordinary shares of 10s. each to £750 divided into 3,000 ordinary shares of 5s. each. At the date of the registration of this minute all the said 3,000 ordinary shares of 5s. each have been issued and are deemed to be fully paid up.”

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Ray Edwards Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland and carrying on business as carriers, debtor, ex parte Harry Charles Linn and Noeleen Helen Linn, trading together as Maraetai Motors, of Maraetai, service station proprietors, creditors, notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-mentioned company by the Supreme Court was, on the 13th day of August 1965, presented to the said Supreme Court by Harry Charles Linn and Noeleen Helen Linn, trading together as Maraetai Motors, of Maraetai, service station proprietors; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 24th day of September 1965, at 10 a.m.; and any creditors or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of the hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulation charge for the same.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
———

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road being portion of Papakura-Titi road, within the County of Franklin, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by and who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the 18th day of August 1965, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.
