Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964,* the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

- Closely Populated Locality and Limited Speed Zone Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

The Warrants under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 17th day of June 1959* and the 16th day of August 1961f, which relate to Te Atatu in Waitemata County and the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956§, dated the 16th day of August 1961$, which relates to West Kelston in Waitemata County and the Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 16th day of June 1964||, which relates to Kelston in Waitemata County are hereby revoked.

The area specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956f.
FIRST SCHEDULE
Situated within Waitemata County:
All that area at Kelston, Kelston West, and Te Atatu, with the exception of the No. 16 State Highway (Auckland-Wellsford) (Auckland-Whenuapai Motorway), bounded to the east, to the north, and to the west by the western banks of the Whau River, the banks of the Wairau Creek, the shores of the Waitemata Harbour, and the eastern bank of Henderson Creek; and bounded to the south by a line commencing at the intersection of the northern boundary of Henderson Borough with the eastern bank of the Henderson Creek; thence south-easterly generally along the boundary of Henderson Borough to the western side of the Great North Road; thence easterly across the Great North Road to its eastern side; thence south-easterly generally along the said roadside to the north-western boundary of Glen Eden Borough at Sabulite Road; thence south-easterly and north-easterly generally along the northern boundaries of Glen Eden Borough and New Lynn Borough to the bank of the Whau River.
SECOND SCHEDULE
Situated within Waitemata County adjacent to Glen Eden Borough:
Great North Road (from Hillary Heights Avenue to the north-western boundary of Glen Eden Borough).

Crown Land at Te Rapa Set Apart for Railway Purposes
Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes. This declaration shall take effect from and after the 23rd day of August 1965.

Both those pieces of Crown land described as follows:

Both situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District, Hamilton City.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington.

Additional Land at Te Rapa Taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway from and after the 23rd day of August 1965.

Dedication of a Road Reserve as a Road
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby dedicates the road reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a road.

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Rotorua County Council on the 22nd day of January 1965:
"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the said county in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation within the meaning of the said Act."
This notice is issued in substitution for the notice dated 30 June 1965 and published in Gazette, 8 July 1965, No. 38, page 1098, and that notice is hereby revoked.
