Hutt County (Northern Section) District Scheme Review No. 1—Proposed Variations to Scheme
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Hutt County Council, made on 10 June 1965, it is the intention of the Council to vary the provision of the above scheme as publicly notified on 9 October 1963.

The following is a summary of the subject-matters of these proposals:

  1. Code of Ordinances:
    (a) “Refuse tips”—to be a conditional use in rural zones.
    (b) “Yards”—Redefinition, amendments to requirements for sitting, coverage and height of buildings and accessory buildings with particular reference to vehicular access and garages.
    (c) “Subdivision of land”—Rephrasing of this ordinance with particular reference to standard area and frontage requirements.
    (d) “Private parking”—Amendment to parking requirements for shopping and business premises and additional provision regarding payment of money in lieu of land for parking.
    (e) “Maintenance of land and buildings”—Rephrasing of this clause with additional requirements relating to maintenance, unsightly property, and the Council’s powers of control in this respect.

  2. Alterations to Zoning:
    (a) Part 1, Ngarara West B, Block III, Kapiti S.D. Area adjacent to proposed aerodrome off Grays Avenue, Paraparaumu Beach, as indicated on Plan T.P. 5/10, from Industrial B to Residential.
    (b) Lot 1, D.P. 21078, Valley Road, Paraparaumu, from Rural to Residential as indicated on Plan T.P. 5/11.
    (c) Part Lots 2 and 4, D.P. 8008, Lots 1 to 5, D.P. 13644, part Section 123, part Lots 2, D.P. 17813, Lot 1, D.P. 25685, State Highway No. 2. Maoribank, in extent approximately 12½ acres as shown on Plan T.P. 5/9, from Residential to Industrial A.
    (d) Parts Section 124, Hutt District, and part Lot 3, D.P. 10543, situated east of railway, at Maoribank, from Rural to Residential as indicated on Plan T.P. 5/12.
    (e) Part Lots 17, 1, 2, and 7, D.P. 3916, situated on Mangaroa Hill Road, east of railway, from Rural to Residential as indicated on Plan T.P. 5/12.
    (f) Approximately 4 acres of railway land south of Silverstream Railway Station and situated between Kiln Street and the proposed alternative access road from Industrial C to Commercial B as indicated on Plan T.P. 5/13.

Details of these proposals, together with the relevant plans, are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons interested therein at the places listed below at any time when these places are open to the public:

  1. Hutt County Council Offices, Bowen House, Bowen Street, Wellington.
  2. Hutt County Council Offices, Paraparaumu.
  3. Pinehaven Library, corner Pinehaven Road and Jocelyn Crescent.
  4. Upper Hutt Public Library.

Objections to these proposed variations, or in respect of any plan thereof, may be made by way of written notice in writing on Form E, prescribed in the First Schedule of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and lodged at the office of the Council, Bowen House, Bowen Street, Wellington, on or before 23 August 1965.

Copies of Form E are obtainable at the places listed above.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

Proposed Changes to the City of Christchurch District Scheme, Section one (Zoning)
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to resolutions of the Christchurch City Council dated 21 June 1965, it has been recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereunder.

The changes of the district scheme as now recommended by the Council are deposited in the Council offices, 194 Manchester Street; the Canterbury Public Library, Cambridge Terrace; and in the Woolston Public Library, Ferry Road; and may be inspected, without fee, during usual office hours.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made in written notice on form E prescribed in the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to Scheme Change”, and lodged at the offices of the Council at any time not later than Monday, 30 August 1965. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available at the Council offices and at the Public Library.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at a hearing of objections if he notifies the Council in writing within a period of which public notices will be given.

ADMINISTRATION ACT 1952

In the matter of the Administration Act 1952 and its amendments and in the matter of the estate of Mary Heather Featherstone Lowrey, late of Dunedin but now deceased, notice is hereby given that the Public Trustee of New Zealand, on the 29th day of June 1965, filed a certificate in the Supreme Court at Dunedin electing to administer the above-mentioned estate under Part IV of the Administration Act 1952, and that the said estate will, as from the said date, be administered, realised, and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of bankruptcy.

I do hereby summon a meeting of creditors of the above estate to be held at the Public Trust Office on the 12th day of July 1965, at 11 a.m.

All creditors, whether they have already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove their debts within the time and manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act 1908. Proof of debt forms may be procured at my office.

REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Te Rangi Hospital Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office at Nelson and carrying on business at Nelson as a private hospital, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 30th day of June 1965, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £10,000 to £4,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 8th day of July 1965. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of Te Rangi Hospital Ltd., is £4,000 divided into 4,000 fully paid ordinary shares of £1 each, having been reduced from £10,000 divided into 6,000 preference shares of £1 each and 4,000 ordinary shares of £1 each.”

Dated this 9th day of July 1965.
