Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Rotorua County Council on the 22nd day of January 1965.

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Chairman, Councillors, and Citizens of the county in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation within the meaning of the said Act.”

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for public purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and, further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Wellington City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Whangaroa County Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for quarry purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whangaroa, in trust, for that purpose.
