Declaring Land Taken for an Automatic Telephone Exchange and for Road in Block VII, Orari Survey District

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, from and after the 21st day of June 1965.

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for soil conservation and river control purposes, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Ngatea and is there open for inspection; and that every person affected by the taking of the said land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
