The Standards Act 1941—Specification Declared to be a Standard Specification

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 16 March 1965, declared the under-mentioned specification to be a standard specification:

Number and Title of Specification: NZSS 1900—Model building bylaw. Chapter 9: Design and construction. Division 9.4: 1965 Steel (Superseding NZSS 95: Part XI).

Price of Copy (Post Free): 7s. 6d.

Application for copies should be made to the N.Z. Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, Wellington C.1, or to the Government Bookshops at Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin.

The Standards Act 1941—Amendment of Standard Specification

PURSUANT to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 3 June 1965, amended the under-mentioned standard specification by the incorporation of the amendment shown hereunder:

Number and Title of Specification: NZSS 696—Valve fittings for compressed gas cylinders. Part 1:1965 Valves with taper stems (excluding valves used for breathing and medical purposes); being BS 341:Part 1:1962.

Amendment: No. 1 (PD 5014).

Application for copies of the standard specification so amended should be made to the N.Z. Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1.

Copies of the amendment will be supplied, free of charge, upon request.

Number and Title of Specification: NZSS 783—Structural steel sections. Part 1: 1963 Hot-rolled sections; being BS 4: Part 1: 1962.

Addendum: No. 1 (PD 5032).

Addendum: No. 2 (PD 5352).

Application for copies of the standard specification so amended should be made to the N.Z. Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Standards Act 1941 and regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 16 March 1965, revoked the standard specifications listed in the Schedule hereto.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Paengaroa Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on and from the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 21 January 1963 and published in the Gazette, No. 4, Volume I, page 110, on 31 January 1963.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 26 January 1938 and published in the Gazette, No. 5, Volume I, page 119, on 27 January 1938.
