Departure from Proposed District Scheme

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and of the regulations made thereunder, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated 5 May 1965, gave consent to a departure from the proposed district scheme of the Whakatane Borough Council to the extent indicated hereunder:

“By permitting the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board to erect on Lots 66, 67, and 68 on Deposited Plan 10587, being part Allotments 272 and 295, Waimana Parish, South Auckland District, which land fronts Commerce and Pyne Streets, Whakatane, of a building more particularly detailed on plans lodged with the said Borough Council and which would not comply with the requirements of Ordinance 14 (3) in relation to verandahs in commercial streets.”

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL

Departure From Operative District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and Country Planning Board, by order dated the 26th day of April 1965, has consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the Levin Borough Council’s operative district scheme by permitting that piece of land owned by R. W. C. Dear Ltd., containing 1 acre 1 rood 16·1 perches, being part Section 22, Deposited Plan 1824, situated in Bartholomew Road, Levin, to be used for residential purposes notwithstanding that the land is and shall remain zoned Industrial B1.

CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Proposed Change to the City of Christchurch District Scheme, Section One (Zoning)

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Christchurch City Council dated 10 February 1965, it has been recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereunder:

The changes of the district scheme as now recommended by the Council are deposited in the City Engineer’s office, 164 Gloucester Street; at the Canterbury Public Library in Cambridge Terrace; and at the Sydenham Public Library, Colombo Street; and may be inspected, without fee, when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made in written notice on form E prescribed in the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to Scheme Change”, and lodged at the offices of the Council at any time not later than 16 July 1965. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available at the Council offices and at the public libraries.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

29 The addition of the following clause to ordinance 6.
6 (2A) “That, except with the consent of the Council, development shall not be permitted in the deferred development areas of zones before the respective dates on the district planning map. Until such respective dates, the uses prescribed as predominant for the zones shall be deemed to be conditional uses in the deferred development areas of those zones, and the provisions of the Code of Ordinance relating to conditional uses, and in particular ordinance 8, shall apply to such conditional uses.”

BOROUGH OF PUKEKOHE

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Changes to the Borough of Pukekohe District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Pukekohe were approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on May 26 1965.

The Council also resolved that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on the 16th day of June 1965.

Copies of the scheme changes, as approved, have been deposited in the Council’s office and in the Pukekohe Public Library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.
