material, on declaration by a manufacturer for use by
him only in making infants' pants, diapers and bibs
Uniforms and regalia—
Lanyards specially suited for completing uniforms
The following articles declared by a manufacturer for use
by him only in making regalia or clerical vestments—
Clasps or morses for copes
(Approved under Part II of the Tariff Reference
25·1):

Yarns of silk, artificial silk, or mixtures of silk and artificial
silk, as approved, declared by a manufacturer for use
by him only in making hosiery or underwear
Approved—
Yarns which have been processed in Australia but
which do not qualify for admission as the produce
or manufacture of that country. The concession does
not extend to yarns manufactured in foreign
countries.)
Asbestos cloth, coarsely woven, for use on laundry machinery
Asbestos piece goods, woven, whether or not having a backing
of woven cotton material

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 18 February 1965.
Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the
Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportions of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.
