Objection to the proposed changes of the district scheme
may be made by way of written notice in form C prescribed
in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning
Regulations 1960, or the like effect marked “Objections to
Scheme Change” and lodged at the office of the council at
any time not later than the 2nd day of July 1965. An
appropriate form for use by objectors is available from the
Town Hall or from the Public Library.
At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any
objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections if he notifies the council in writing within a period
of which public notice will be given.

Hearing of Objections to Mount Eden Borough District
Scheme, Change No. 1
Proposal to change Residential B zoning between Grange
Road and Prospect Terrace to Commercial C
THE Mount Eden Borough Council hereby gives notice that
the hearing of objections to the District Scheme Change No. 1,
will commence at the Council Chambers, 64 Valley Road,
Mount Eden, at 7.30 p.m., on Tuesday, 22 June 1965 and
will continue as there arranged from time to time and place
to place until all objectors and witnesses have been heard. All
persons who wish to be heard in support of or in opposition to
any objection shall notify the council accordingly at least three
days before that date.
The following is a summary of the subject matter of objec-
tions received by the council.
(a) Objection for the reason that the change would detract
from the residential nature of the neighbourhood. The trustees
in the Estate of Estella Newstead Simmonds, care of Nicholson,
Gribbin, Rogerson, and Nicholson, P.O. Box 160, Auckland.
(b) Objection for the reason that a factory built on the
boundary will stop the wind drying his house. J. Cottam,
No. 1, R.D., Te Kauwhata.
(c) Objection for the reason that the rezoning of the
adjoining property to commercial will devalue my property.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Departure from Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the
Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and
of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated the 25th day
of March 1965, has consented to a Specified Departure from
the Mount Roskill Borough Council’s Operative District
Scheme, by permitting the applicants, Temple Properties Ltd.,
to carry on a drycleaning and pressing business in Shop No. 3,
in a block of three shops erected on all that piece of land
comprising 23·5 perches, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, and
3, on Deposited Plan 46203, and being part Allotment 71,
Parish of Titirangi, subject, however, to the conditions as
set out below:
- The drycleaning plant to be of the totally enclosed type.
- The steam raising plant shall be operated by electric
boiler. - At no time shall white spirit be used on the premises.
- No laundering or dyeing shall be carried out on the
premises.

Change of City of Auckland District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the council made on 3 May 1965, the council has recom-
mended that the Operative District Scheme be changed in
respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto. The
change of the district scheme, as now recommended by the
council, has been deposited in the Town Hall (Town Planning
Division), the Central Library, and each of the branch
libraries, namely, Avondale, Epsom, Grafton, Grey Lynn,
Parnell, Point Chevalier, Remuera, Glen Innes, Tamaki, and
Leys Institute, for inspection by all persons interested therein,
without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the
public.
Objection to the proposed change of the district scheme may
be made by way of written notice in form “E” prescribed in
the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regula-
tions 1960, or to the like effect marked “Objection to Scheme
Change” and lodged in the office of the council at any
time not later than 25 June 1965. An appropriate form for
use by objectors is available from the Town Hall or from
the libraries.
At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any
objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections if he notifies the council in writing within a
period of which public notice will be given.

Proposed Modification of the Paihia Section of the Bay of
Islands County Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County
Council at its meeting held on 21 April 1965, acting by and
under the powers conferred on it by sections 29 and 30A of
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, recommended that
the Paihia Section of the Bay of Islands County Operative
District Scheme be modified by the deletion of the Commercial
Zone described in the attached Schedule and shown on the
District Planning Map, and that the said land be zoned
Residential in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 9,
of the Code of Ordinances which forms part of the said
Scheme.
SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION—Lot 1, D.P. 33254, Paihia Town. Owner—A. B.
Cook. Description—Lot 14, D.P. 11040, Paihia Town. Owner—
Mary Bull. Locality—Corner of Marsden Road and Bay View
Road.
Any person wishing to object to the said modification
shall state the grounds of his objection in writing addressed
to the County Clerk, Kawakawa, on or before the 21st day
of June 1965.
At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection and any person wishing to support or oppose any
objection shall be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections if he notifies the County Clerk within the period of
which notice will be given.

Departure from Operative Scheme
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the
Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and its amendments,
and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board by order dated 26 April
1965, gave consent to a departure from the Operative District
Scheme of the City of Nelson, to the extent indicated
hereunder.
