Scheme of Control of Paeroa College
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Paeroa College published in the Gazette of 7 September 1961, No. 56, page 1386; and approves of Paeroa College being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961:*
Provided that clause 46 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the following proviso were added thereto:
“Provided that in any case where the Board enters into an arrangement for accounting services to be undertaken by an Education Board or by the governing body of another post-primary school (hereinafter referred to as the agent board) all money shall be paid into the bank account of the agent board, and no money shall be drawn out of such bank account except by the authority of the Board and by cheque signed by the persons authorised by the agent board to withdraw money from such bank account.”

Scheme of Control of Mangakino High School
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Mangakino High School published in the Gazette of 12 November 1964, No. 71, page 2047; and approves of Mangakino High School being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961:*
Provided that:
(a) The said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the clause numbered 12A, set out in the Schedule hereto, were inserted after clause 12.
(b) Clause 18 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the following proviso were added thereto:
“Provided that every member appointed or elected for the first term of office of the Board shall hold office until the 31st day of May in the year 1968, whether or not that year is the third year after the year of his appointment or election.”
(c) Clause 46 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the following proviso were added thereto:
“Provided that in any case where the Board enters into an arrangement for secretarial or accounting services, or both, to be undertaken by an Education Board or by the governing body of another post-primary school (hereinafter referred to as the agent board) all money shall be paid into the bank account of the agent board and no money shall be drawn out of such bank account except by the authority of the Board and by cheque signed by the persons authorised by the agent board to withdraw money from such bank account.”
SCHEDULE
CLAUSE TO BE READ AS A PART OF STANDARD SCHEME
“12A. (1) In every case where any member is to be elected by the members of the school committees of the schools to which paragraph (c) of clause 2 of the Mangakino High School Board of Governors Order 1964 applies, every such member shall be so elected by postal ballot in a manner approved by the Mangakino High School Board of Governors.
(2) Such an election shall be held in the month of May in the year 1968 and every third year thereafter, or as soon thereafter as may be convenient, on a date to be fixed by the Mangakino High School Board of Governors. For the purposes of every such election, the Secretary of the Board shall be the returning officer.”

Crown Land Set Apart for Maori Housing Purposes in Block XIII, Opoti Survey District
PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for Maori housing purposes from and after the 17th day of May 1965.

ALL that piece of public reserve containing 1 rood 10·4 perches situated in Block VIII, Purua Survey District, North Auckland R.D., and being part Allotment 79, Town of Kamo; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19386 (S.O. 44755) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
