Notice Calling Final Meeting
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Gleneagles Ltd. (in liquidation), notice is hereby given in pursuance of section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the offices of Pattick, Feist, Jack, and Middlebrook, A.M.P. Building, Customhouse Quay, Wellington, on the 28th day of May 1965, at 10 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.
Further Business:
To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution:
“That the books and papers of the company and of the liquidator be retained by the liquidator.”
Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of him. A proxy need not be a member.
Proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged with the undersigned at the offices of Pattick, Feist, Jack, and Middlebrook, A.M.P. Building, Customhouse Quay, Wellington, not later than 10 a.m. on the 26th day of May 1965.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of the Gisborne Car Upholsterers, at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly commenced and held at 98 Peel Street, Gisborne, on Monday, the 26th day of April 1965, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily and that Reginald William James, of Gisborne, public accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of J. A. Payne Ltd., will be held on Monday, the 10th day of May 1965, at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed; and that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the Chamber of Commerce Boardroom, Courthouse Lane, Auckland, on Tuesday, the 11th day of May 1965, at 3.30 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Rotorua Homes Ltd., a company duly incorporated under the provisions of the aforesaid Act and having its registered office at MacLeod’s the Real Estate Firm, Fenton Street, Rotorua, notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 2nd day of February 1965, presented to the said Court by Rotorua Homes Ltd., a company duly incorporated under the provisions of the aforesaid Act, and having its registered office at MacLeod’s the Real Estate Firm, Fenton Street, Rotorua; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at the Supreme Court-house, at Hamilton, on the 28th day of May 1965, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Renewal Loan No. 2, 1965, £34,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £34,000 authorised to be raised by the Mount Maunganui Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of renewing certain water supply loans, the said council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·369d. in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Maunganui; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council held on the 20th day of April 1965.
